Meeple Play Cafe in the vibrant centre of Hythe in The New Forest National Park is a welcoming, family owned, independent coffee shop, bar, and cafe. Serving award winning coffee, and an excellent selection of hot and cold food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, we have something that everyone will enjoy.
Our loaded hot dogs, stacked classic sandwiches, and filled bagels are just a few things on the menu to tempt you in. Open late every Friday and Saturday, we also boast a fully stocked bar and an unrivalled collection of craft beers from independent breweries across the country.

Boardgames aren't for everyone, but the play at Meeple Play Cafe doesn't end there. Getting inspired, creative, and hands on with making and crafting is play too. That's why we have a great selection of craft activities to complete in the cafe or take home.
Our play pass includes paper crafts for young children, and we have a diverse range of craft kits for older children too. Paint your own pottery for all ages is available during our normal hours, but we run a varied programme of evening craft workshops for adults only. Knit and Natter, Sip and Paint, Macrame, Decoupage, Ceramics, and more!
